Mission trips are a time for new experiences. They are a time for you to try new things. They are a time for you to have conversations with people you don't know. They are a time for you to get deeper with people you've known for years. All that sounds great, but it also sounds uncomfortable.

Cambodia is a mysterious place. It's hot. It's busy. The people speak a different language and write in an exotic script. The food isn't what your use to. It isn't exactly the most comfortable place on earth.

But it is home to these faces.

Here's a story from one of our past participants, Megan Kinney:

After the boys settled down, it was time for the lesson. I am sure Sarah and I sat between the two boys with the shortest attention span. It was really funny to watch them be distracted by a tiny, toy bicycle.

Next was craft time. They made masks to be like superheroes. We were each given a group to work with. I helped one little boy color and decorate his.

At the end of craft time, I was handed my own mask by a 10-year-old boy. He decorated it for me and everything! I was so touched by this I can hardly explain. The love these boys show to one another, but also to someone they just met. I feel truly blessed to have met and spent time with them. I will never forget their faces.

Are you ready to get out of your comfort zone and experience what God has prepared for you?
