We went to the three most famous temples in Siem Reap and saw some incredible works of art. In the midst of it all, we also saw God and His creation. He showed us His rainbow, His beautiful clear blue sky and muddied rivers as a back drop. We also saw the most incredible trees that have wrapped their legs around one of the temples. Even in the midst of spiritual darkness there is beauty.

After that we went to a friend of our Tuk tuk driver (Don). Dennis and his wife live in Siem Reap in a lush compound. They are passionate about living recklessly for God and creating disciples for Christ one life at a time. They testified to multiple experiences of God's miraculous healing power as they have moved from village to village to display that Jesus really is God.
We had an opportunity to encourage them and pray for them. They also prayed for healing for us. As they were praying for healing for me for my head, I had an amazing experience. I felt the Holy Spirit come upon me and it knocked me down, then I felt a pleasant peaceful experience as I discerned a tightening up in my nasal cavity and up into my forehead. At that moment the clouds burst open and a downpour of rain began. I believe God was repairing the damage that was done to my brain from my multiple head injuries. Praise God for His Healing power!

After dinner we did our debrief. We practiced listening prayer and came to our meeting with a word that the Lord gave us for a specific individual in our group. We drew names out of the hat after we shared our word with the group. The person we drew is the one who was supposed to receive that word.
It was so cool to see how God ordained that time. In so many instances, the word was exactly designed for that person. Alex shared His word from God. He shared how on our first day we were at the Killing Fields and he noticed the human bones imbedded in the dirt we were walking over and when the rain came, how it brought new life to dry bones. He also shared how each time we prayed it brought the rain. So his word for his random person was "Healing Rain".
Well you guessed it, Alex drew my name, and I received his word of "Healing Rain". This confirmed what God did for me in the rain earlier that day and also confirmed the healing ministry that God is budding in me for His Glory. This was super powerful and to think it came from my son really touched my heart.
My word was that God wanted to heal someone's back and right hand. I also got a second word for my person which I wrote on a second sheet of paper. My word was "smile God loves you". My room mate ended up being my random person. What was so cool is that the second word is perfect for her. And we believe the healing word might be for her mom who she was Skyping with just before our meeting. Then we closed in prayer and Connie asked Alexis to close us in prayer and she prayed for Rebecca's mom's back and wrist. After prayer Alexis revealed that God regularly uses her to pray for healing of backs. God is so very good!

Our last night in ministry, we went to a local Karaoke bar and Jess and I performed worship songs. It was so great to use a gift God gave me and my love of music to serve him in this way! And after we left the stage, the bar band went back up… and sang two praise songs. That was so neat!
This trip has been so powerful.
