Hope continues to be a theme for me in Cambodia. I was not expecting this. As I ponder what hope really is, I realize that for many in Cambodia hope is not real. When someone feels hopeless and alone, they can’t always help themselves out of their situation. They need help… Someone to walk with them. Organizations like Hard Places Community, Agape, Daughters of Cambodia, CCAM, and others, do just that. They walk with the hopeless and vulnerable in the love of Jesus. They have shown me that HOPE IS REAL in Cambodia.
