Cambodia,

This beautiful country is known for Angkor Wat, its architecture, markets, and its sex trade. While I lived in Cambodia I lived right across the street from a Brothel. Every night I would sit out on the porch and watch as men would come in and out. This broke my heart and made me very upset, I just could not believe this was happening. Throughout my time there I asked the Lord to turn my angry heart towards these men into a heart of compassion, to help me see them as Jesus sees them.

During my time with Adventures in missions we taught at a school for Vietnamese refuges, this school was held in what use to be a brothel. It was amazing to see how God took what was made for evil and made it good. In this school children had the opportunity to get an education. Because they are not Cambodian children they don't have the right to attend a Cambodian school. Most of these kids come from a fishing village and life did not look to bright for them until this school was put in. I was so excited to help teach these kids and share with them the love of Jesus Christ.

During you missions trip to Cambodia you will have the amazing opportunity to love on the men and woman who have been so lost in darkness and the children who can not see a hope for their future.
