Southeast Asia is full of beautiful countries dripping with rich heritage.

“What makes Cambodia different?”, you ask.

Nestled between Thailand and Vietnam, this beautiful country is dense with lush rain forests, striking waterfalls, and rice paddies that have been cultivated since before the first century BC.

With a population that is 95% Buddhist, it houses the Angkor Temple complex which holds the record as the most extensive concentration of temples in the world.  Among these is the famous, Angkor Wat. Built in the early 12th century, it is common to see tourists, vendors, tuktuk drivers, Buddhist monks and children milling about Angkor Wat.

After the genocide led by the Khmer Rouge where experts estimate 1.7 million people were killed, the country is extremely young with more than 50% of people being under 25 years old.

On a visit to Cambodia, people are often amazing at the beautiful sights, delicious foods, and endlessly smiling faces.
