Many women today are trapped in a vicious cycle. They are imprisoned in a life that they did not choose.
With very little to no education, no one will hire. These women are often forced to sell their bodies in order to put food on the table for their families. Women often feel that there is nowhere to turn, no one to talk to, and no one that understands why they are doing what they are doing.
This makes my heart break.
Each and every one of these women are God’s daughters. They are His Segullah. This is a Hebrew name that God uses to describe the Israelites and it means chosen ones, God's holy priests, his very own, set apart for a purpose, and his treasured possession.
God made these women in His own image and with the help of an organization called “Precious Women,” these women are given the tools and education they need to get other jobs to be able to support for their families.
While you will be in Cambodia, you will be working alongside of this ministry bringing life and hope to these women that feel that they are trapped in something that they hate doing. You are going to show that these women do have value and that God has a purpose for them.
I invite you to go to the website below to learn more about what “Precious Women” is doing in Cambodia.
